Kurzes Profil

Dr. Lukas Andereggen absolvierte die klinische Ausbildung zum Facharzt für Neurochirurgie in Bern. Sein Forschungsinteresse gilt der restorativen Neurowissenschaften zur Wiederherstellung von Nervenzellen und axonaler Regeneration. Seit 2013 ist er Postdoctoral Fellow am Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, mit Unterstützung zweier Stipendien des Schweizerischen Nationalfonds (SNF). Für seine wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten erhielt er nationale und internationale Auszeichnungen, u.a. durch die Federation of Swiss Clinical Neurosciences Societies (SFCNS), die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Neuroradiologie (DGNR), sowie der American Association of Neurological Surgeons/ Congress of Neurological Surgeons (AANS/CNS).
Dr. Lukas Andereggen ist Reviewer internationaler Zeitschriften auf dem Gebiet der Neurochirurgie und der Neurowissenschaften.
