Bus 12 (Inselspital–Holligen) from Bern train station or bus stop «Hirschengraben» to bus stop «Inselspital».
Postbus 100 oder 101 from postbus station at Bern train station or bus stop «Schanzenstrasse» to bus stop «Inselplatz».

Train travelers: Leave the station via the main exit Bahnhofplatz and take bus 12 (Inselspital-Holligen). The bus stop is on edge D in front of the «Heiliggeistkirche» (under the canopy).

Exit Forsthaus/Inselspital, then follow the signs to «Inselspital» and «Insel-Parking».
Parking facilities
There are no long-term parking spaces on the hospital grounds. Day tickets for public parking spaces are available from vending machines at bus stops. Use the Insel's own parking garage, Insel-Parking.
Bringing and picking up patients
There are short-term parking spaces near the entrance to the clinics for drop-off and pick-up.
Wheelchair service
You will find wheelchairs in the Insel-Parking and at various other locations in the hospital and may borrow them until the end of your visit.
