Laura Baldussi impressed with her master's thesis on «The needs of patients with high-grade glioma and their caregivers in the initial treatment phase». This study examines the wishes and needs of patients and their family members who are confronted with a diagnosis of «high-grade glioma», stressful symptoms, and a poor prognosis.
Tanja Belser received the award for her master's thesis «Between personal involvement and assumption of responsibility by parents with children visiting the intensive care unit», which deals with the importance of children's access to adult intensive care units and the development of patient- and family-centered concepts.
