Bern Hands-on Aneurysm Clipping Course

May 27–28th 2025 | SITEM Inselspital Bern

Following the very positive feedback of previous editions, we are glad to welcome you to the 3rd edition of the Bern Hands-on Aneurysm Clipping Course, which will take place on May 27–28th 2025 in Bern. This Hands-on Course offers a unique opportunity to enhance microsurgical skills in ruptured and unruptured intracranial aneurysm surgery through high-fidelity simulations.

More than 10 hours of hands-on and simulation clipping of different aneurysms (different locations, sizes and difficulties), ruptured and unruptured, as well as interactive complex case discussions and review of "tricks and tips" in aneurysm surgery. You will have also the chance to train different clipping strategies and techniques with our cutting-edge and last generation patients-specific physical and blood-perfused 3D simulators using microscopes, exoscopes, ICG, clips and large palette of microsurgical instruments. The event will provide a valuable platform to exchange innovative ideas, discuss the latest technological and technical advancements, and improve practical skills. It will be a unique opportunity to spend two days exchanging experiences, socializing and learning with our faculty and with cerebrovascular neurosurgeons from around the world. The workshop will take place at the state-of-the-art facility at Clinical Anatomy Training and Research Center at the SITEM/Inselspital, in the center of Bern.
